Bone Broth Chai Latte

A spiced, nourishing winter drink using pasture-raised broth from The Ridge

When the weather cools and you’re craving something warm, cozy, and deeply nourishing, this Bone Broth Chai Latte is the perfect blend of comfort and wellness. Made with our pasture-raised bone broth and infused with real spices, this latte is grounding, aromatic, and loaded with minerals, collagen, and warmth.

This is your new winter ritual — simple, soothing, and incredibly good for you. This chai latte is made the traditional way — with whole spices toasted briefly to unlock their aroma before simmering with broth, tea, and milk. The result is a deeply spiced, luxurious drink that feels like a hug in a mug.

Ingredients

Chai Base

  • 1 cup bone broth (from The Ridge)

  • 3 cups water

  • 6 chai tea bags

  • ⅓ cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whole Spices

  • 1–2 cloves

  • 1 star anise

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1–2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 tsp peppercorns

  • 1 tsp cardamom

Instructions

1. Toast the spices

In a pot, add the cloves, star anise, cinnamon, peppercorns, and cardamom.

Toast for 2–3 minutes until fragrant — this unlocks the deep chai flavor.

2. Create the chai broth base

Add the bone broth and water to the pot.

Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes to infuse.

3. Steep the tea

Add the chai tea bags and steep for 10 minutes.

Remove tea bags once the flavor is strong, warm, and spiced.

4. Warm the milk separately

In a separate pan, warm your milk of choice.

Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract until combined.

(Use our raw milk for a creamy, luxurious latte, and add raw heavy cream if you want it extra silky.)

5. Combine + blend

Pour the chai base and milk mixture together.

Blend (carefully) or froth until creamy and velvety.

Serve warm and garnish with cinnamon if desired.

Tips & Variations (Ridge Favorites)

  • Use our raw milk for the richest, creamiest chai latte.

  • Add a splash of raw heavy cream for a decadent, coffeehouse-style finish.

  • Make it unsweetened by reducing maple syrup.

  • Add a scoop of collagen for extra protein + nourishment.

  • For a caffeine-free version, use rooibos chai bags.

  • Want it spicier? Add extra peppercorns or ginger.
